Book your place on a range of tours, as well as the Gala Dinner and Welcome Reception.


A variety of tours are available. These include The Anne Anderson Walk, a ghost tour; whiskey and gin tours and tasting experiences; a tour of St Andrews in Fife, and sightseeing tours of Edinburgh city centre either on foot or on-board a vintage red bus.

Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception will be held at the Edinburgh International Convention Centre (EICC) on Sunday 16th September.

Expect some characterstically Scottish entertainment, alongside drinks and canapés.

Gala Dinner

The Gala Dinner will take place in the National Museum of Scotland on Monday 17th September. The Museum is a short walk from the Royal Mile and a 10 minute taxi away from the EICC.

Pre-dinner drinks will take place in the Scottish Galleries. Guests will then be invited to move upstairs to enjoy a three-course meal in the light filled Grand Gallery. The evening’s entertainment will include traditional Scottish music and a ceilidh, followed by a disco so you can carry on dancing the night away.

To guarantee your place, a non-refundable ticket donation of £10 will be taken during registration. The money will be donated to the charity Social Bite, a national Social Enterprise in Scotland dedicated to tackling homelessness. To learn more about Social Bite watch this short video.

How to book

Tours and social events can be booked at the time of registration. Click here to register. 

If you have already registered, you can still make bookings for social events by logging into your Colloquium account and selecting 'Registration: Additional bookings' from the internal menu. Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. 

For the leisure tours, the organisers reserve the right to cancel any tour if the minimum numbers are not met for it to run. An alternative option or a refund will be provided in this situation.
